Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ResorAI, operated by Guangzhou Bensinuo Information Technology Co., Ltd., available at https://www.resorai.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

ResorAI provides a Local-first Desktop workspace for literature management, PDF reading, Evidence organization, Research Cards, variables, GAP analysis, and research-model design. The Web service provides account, subscription, billing, device authorization, downloads, and optional AI processing. AI outputs assist your judgment; you are responsible for checking their Evidence, accuracy, and suitability.

2. Local data and optional cloud processing

Your Desktop Library, original PDFs, Projects, notes, and structured research outputs remain on your computer by default. When you request an AI feature, you authorize Desktop to send the selected text and structured context needed for that request through our cloud gateway. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to process that material and for maintaining your own local backups.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

4. Subscriptions, AI Credits, and billing

  • Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may be displayed in your local currency.
  • Your subscription renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
  • Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
  • Local Library organization and PDF import do not consume AI Credits. AI features may consume Credits according to the plan and usage information displayed before or in your account console.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service for unlawful purposes or to infringe others’ rights;
  • submit content you do not have the right to use;
  • present AI-generated output as your own original work in violation of academic integrity rules that apply to you;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you submit. Subject to these Terms and your active plan, you may use the outputs you generate. The ResorAI platform, software, and branding remain our property.

7. Research and AI disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AI outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies and do not constitute professional, legal, or academic advice. You are solely responsible for verifying and using any output.

8. Software updates and platform availability

Desktop features, supported operating systems, and model providers may change. Signed updates may create a local database backup before installation, but you should maintain an independent backup of important research files. Mobile applications marked as coming soon are not part of the currently delivered service.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guangzhou Bensinuo Information Technology Co., Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and contact
